Seventh Avenue, recognized as one of the “10 Great Streets in America,” will be converted to a winter wonderland as it snows from the rooftops and balconies of businesses between 15th and 17th Streets.  The second annual SNOW on 7th will take place this Saturday, December 15th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Mayor Buckhorn will lead the first annual Historic Holiday Parade down 7th Avenue with horse drawn carriages, marching bands, performers and Santa Claus.  The parade will start at 7 p.m.  at 20th and 7th Avenue and move west to Avenida Republica de Cuba (14th Street) where a Winter Carnival will be in full swing.   The SNOW ZONE  will be 7th Avenue between 15th and 17th Streets.   There will be photos with Santa & Live Holiday Music at Centro Ybor. Bring your camera and take your photo with jolly St. Nick against the backdrop of a 34’ tree in the courtyard of Centro Ybor and in various Ybor City establishments. Carolers will provide sounds of the season in Centro Ybor’s courtyard. The event is free.
