This holiday season, Walmart will again give Facebook users a voice in how a total of $1.5 million will be donated to local nonprofits across the country. Starting Nov. 1, people can visit the Live Better tab on Walmart’s Facebook page to nominate local nonprofits for a chance to receive funding from Walmart this holiday season. Walmart will review the nominations and decide where to send funding. Nominations are accepted through Nov. 18. On Dec. 10, Walmart will start the 12 Days of Giving, announcing funding to the winning nonprofits that were nominated on Facebook. Walmart hopes to inspire others to get involved in their own communities and look for ways to improve the lives of those around them.
