Farm to Fork events are great ways to meet some of the farmers and other foodies in the tri-county area! This event is more than just a dinner, but also is a fundraiser for Community Stepping Stones - a local 501(c)3 non-profit thats works with at-risk teens through Community Art programs. CommunitySteppingStones.org Proceeds from the dinner, and drinks afterwards, are going towards Green Springs market {e_description}amp; delivery service. Community Stepping Stones (CSS), in cooperation with the Birdhouse Buying club will be organizing Green Springs market {e_description}amp; delivery service which will provide at-risk youth in the Sulphur Springs neighborhood with job training and enable community members to gain better access to locally sourced food from the Birdhouse Buying Club. 5:30 Doors Open (bar opens) 6:00 Dinner starts 8:00 Faux Farmers Market {e_description}amp; Restaurant/bar open to the public 1$ from each drink purchased at the bar will go towards Community Stepping Stones. DJ Chang Bang will be playing music all night, Bluebird Book Bus (http://www.thebluebirdbus.com/) will be set up with cook books are more inside the bus, And a faux farmers market will be taking place up stairs where you'll also get to meet some of the producers! Here's the tentative menu for the event each dish will be paired with a drink of choice - created by Head Chef Suzanne Crouch: Cigar City beer in a can will be paired with each dish!
