The Safety Harbor Public Library is pleased to host author Dixon Hearne on Thursday, November 15 at 2:00pm as he shares his experiences researching and writing about the American South. Hearne will also be giving tips about writing, publishing and the creative process. Hearne is author of the award-winning novel, Plantatia: High-toned and Lowdown Stories about culture in the bayous of Louisiana and the Deep South. His newest publication, When Christmas Was Real: Stories, Memoirs, and Poetry, will also be featured. Copies of Hearne’s books will be available for sale and signing following the presentation.The Library is located at 101 2nd Street N. Safety Harbor. For more information, call 724-1525 x112.
