Description:
The WLE German Program will be holding a film screening of Schultze Gets the Blues, which won the award of "Best Film" at the 2003 Stockholm Film Festival. This comedy tells the story of a retired miner/polka musician that lives in a small, East German village. After hearing a Zydeco (musical genre of American folk music) tune for the first time, his taste of music dramatically changes, and he begins his trip to the heart of the Zydeco, in Louisiana. For more information on the film screening contact Dr. Margit Grieb at grieber@usf.edu. A USF World International Education Month Event!
