Parenting and Divorce  Parenting and Divorce Class covers the following:· Shared parenting/permanency of parental role· Child development stages and impacts of divorce· Communicating with your children· Communicating with the other parent· Child abuse /neglect and spouse abuse· Legal concepts and community resources· Families in transition  · Completion of this four-hour course is required when minor children are involved in the divorce. Couples  must register individually and may only attend the same session with special permission.· The cost of the class, which includes a workbook, is $25 (non-refundable) plus a small Eventbrite fee.· Sliding fee scale is available.· Children are not permitted in the class.· You must bring a picture I.D. to class, such as a driver’s license.· You will also need to bring our case number.· Register online, by email or by phone.· A certificate will be given at the end of class.   Classes are held:8:30 a.m. to 12:30p.m. on the following Thursdays:December 6 This ticket allows the participant to attend Parents, Children and Divorce event from 8:30 am to 12:30pm at the Hillsborough County Extension Offcice.
