THE GUILD AT THE DALI MUSEUM PRESENTS SUEÑOS DE DALI - DREAMS OF DALI PARTY SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13St. Petersburg - The Dali Museum invites the public to support Sueños de Dali on Saturday, October 13, 2012 with limited VIP Admission at 6:30 p.m. and General Admission at 8:00 p.m. Sueños de Dali is an elegant and outlandish event celebrating Dali's life and legacy as a cultural icon for the bizarre and surreal. Dali's paintings explored his fantasies in dreams. Imagine a dream-like evening filled with illusory sensations where guests enjoy specialty cocktails by Tito's Handmade Vodka, fanciful hors d'oeuvres by Texas de Brazil and Loews Don CeSar Hotel, inspiring music by the Nate Najar Quintet, and access to the museum's Avant Garden and galleries. The décor references Dali's use of clocks and includes video projections, acrobatic pole aerialists, and body-painted living sculptures. This year's benefit event is a sequel to the grand celebration of the new Dali a year and a half ago that was called the best evening ever in St. Petersburg by community luminaries and art patrons. Dress is surreal and dream-theme cocktail attire.
