Discover Florida’s fish and wildlife and their habitats at the 18th annual MarineQuest open house. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Fish and Wildlife Research Institute (FWRI) opens its doors for the 2012 edition Saturday October 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors of all ages can see touch tanks with live critters from Tampa Bay and learn about red tide, manatees and much more! Sponsors include the Tampa Bay Times, the City of St. Petersburg and the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. Parking and admission are free.
