Immanuel Lutheran School Celebrates Oktoberfest  With autumn in the air, ImmanuelLutheranSchoolis preparing for their annual Oktoberfest.  The event will be held at 2913 John Moore Road, Brandon, on Saturday, October 20th, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Oktoberfest is host to a variety of activities.  Kids will enjoy the carnival games, car bash, face painting, a small kiddie train and inflatables, such as an obstacle course, sports arena, several bounce houses and slides.  Parents and Grandparents will have the opportunity to shop local business at the craft and vendor show held in the gym.  There will also be hourly entertainment and a costume contest for both kids and adults at 11 a.m. Outside entertainment includes, Spirit FM, which will be onsite from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Cintas Secured Shredding will also be available to shred all your documents securely for a small cash donation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The Oktoberfest menu includes homemade autumn stew, brats, hot dogs, hamburgers, German potato salad, and much more.  Pick up delicious cakes, pies and desserts at the bake sale.    No entry fee.
