A fresh twist on an old favorite in New Port Richey!
Greater New Port Richey Main Street and a team of volunteers are bring a Farmers’ Market back to the downtown New Port Richey. Joining forces with the Progress Energy Art Gallery and the monthly First Friday art exhibit openings gives this project a base to build upon.
Fresh Friday Night Market and Art will feature fresh florida produce, made from scratch breads, and other unique items such as cheeses, soaps and candles, fresh plants and flowers as well as handcrafted arts and crafts. The event will be held every Friday through the end of April.
“The Market Team decided to increase the event to weekly beginning in January when our local population grows due to the number of winter residents and visitors to our area” said Beth Fregger Executive Director for Greater New Port Riche Main Street, who is spearheading the Farmers’ Market team.
There will also be demonstrations, gardening tips, and information on sustainability, edible landscaping and much more at each and every Fresh Friday Night Market and Art.
FRESH FRIDAY NIGHT MARKET & ART is held on the EAST end of Railroad Square, one block east of Main Street on Nebraska Avenue between Grand Blvd and Adams Street; and Cavalaire Square located between Nebraska & Missouri Avenues.
The Progress Energy Art Gallery is located at 6231 Grand Boulevard, in the same block as the Richey Suncoast Theatre.
