Metropolitan Ministries has gone from a single room food pantry to one of America's most effective and innovative caregivers.  They serve approximately 100-150 families daily through Outreach Services and offer a variety of supportive programs.   80 children and 40 adults call Metropolitan Ministries their home every night.  GET REAL Involved! will serve the guests in one or more of their area of need, including the kitchen, sorting clothes at the thrift store and facility maintenance.We will be working in the Community Garden in Tampa Heights on the Metropolitan Ministries plot Wear your "GET REAL Involved!" t-shirt, bring sunscreen, bug spray, work clothes, gloves & hats, long pants and closed toed shoes.
